I'm not (necessarily) into using cheats and mods, but do agree with using the latest patches. I know this is lazy, but what patches are available? Best place to get 'em? Ignoring my pious attempts, any mods worth looking at!!??

My current version is v2.01(091311) as supplied on disk.
I guess thats the latest (for now).

I've never used a mod myself, but I have used an editor. I made the mistake of giving an elf a level as a barbarian for the extra hit points and then multiclassing to rogue. I didn't realize this would result in a 20% eperience penalty until I'd saved. I used the editor (called Dale Keeper II) to change the character's race to human and all was well. (O.K., at least.) Got it here:
