Decent story, great effects...hot nekkid chick right at the beginning
Arnie gets a lot of good lines Worth seeing in my mind I give it a solid 7 of 10. Also has a cool plot twist

On top of that the first 5 minutes of the movie had sound problems in our theatre so now I have free passes to any other movie I might want to see....say like Pirate of the carribean?

Yeah, really good movie. One of my favorite parts is when Arnold puts on those pimp glasses from the strip club.

And I especially enjoy this line.

"Tell me you are sh*tting me"- John
"No, I am not sh*tting you"-Arnold
You just have to see that part to truly enjoy it, or atleast in my book.

It's exactly those kind of lines that annoy me the most about Schwarzenegger. Like in "predator", where he nails someone to a pole with a big knife, and comes up with "stick around". It could have been funny if it weren't for that godawful accent. I know he's originally from Austria, but he should be able to speak normal English by now. If he's keeping the accent because of his image, than that's something i don't quite understand. He speaks even worse English than Van Damme, and that says a lot.

But of all annoying Arnie moments, the scene in the plane where he sings along with a song on his walkman (pick up those papers and the trash) is the worst. I actually turn off the sound on my TV when i hear that.

Arrow

I very much enjoyed this movie, as did my wife. There is one chase scene involving several police vehicles, a fire truck, a crane, and a pound puppy truck that is just TOO MUCH decadent destruction and mahem. I almost felt like I was in an orgy of capitalist entertainment eye candy during the scene. In other words, IT WAS GREAT!

I would agree with MagiK's 7/10, and I think my wife would say 8 or 9/10. Oh, and be prepared -- there ain't no namby pamby feel-goodness to this one.

I haven't seen it myself yet, but Z and I were talking about it on the phone Friday, and he said that he didn't think it was as good as the other ones. He said it had a different director and that may have been why.

Johnny, you bring up something that has bothered me about the reviews of this movie. Everyone that criticises the movie all Diss arnie for his accent. Well EXCUUUUUSE ME! I kind of like the fact that he doesn't sound like exactly every other actor or actress in a hollywood film. Its kind of nice to hear a real persons voice. I remember how shocked I was the first time I heard Bruce Lee speak in public.....all those movies and they had dubbed his voice....

Can't we get beyond the shallow biggotry of English speaking no accent only types? Hell even English and Australian actors are working furiously to get rid of their accents....

Sorry for the Drool and didn't mean to be picking on you Johnny, it is just one of those pet peeves....sort of like criticising an actor for being too black or too white.

Edit: As for his singing There were people on American Idol who didn't sing as well as Arnie, so I think we can cut him some slack there too I applaude his courage for singing in public...how many of us do that?

No offense taken MagiK, some may like it, some not. I like Arnies movies too, i just can't stand his accent. There's other "aliens" in Hollywood who also have an accent, like that French guy in Godzilla (forgot his name), but that doesn't bother me at all. Just Arnies accent, and Jean Claude's. Sorry, can't help it.

Jean Reno, also starred in Leon and Nikita. He oozes coolness, and [tongue-in-cheek]I never thought I'd say that about one of those bally Frenchies![/tongue-in-cheek]

It was ok, but as Reeka said, I didn't think it was better than the 2nd one. The soundtrack SUCKED. Notice through 60% of the chase, there was ZERO music. Music is what increases the suspense!!

The second I saw him put on those silly glasses, I was like "oh god. not the funny crap". He should be deadly and not funny.

It just wasn't that hot... And the Badgirl T1002 or whatever was NOT scary at all. all she did was have a flamethrower. wee. wow. In T2, that T1000 was clever, and hid on the floor AS a floor, and did really neat stuff...

Small stuff like in T2, where the T1000 (Polymemetic dude) was in the mall, and threw Arnold out the window, and he stopped, and looked at this mannequin (it's head was silver and metallic looking) and he stopped, and looked at it for a beat or two.. little moments like that go a long way IMO.
