Ok I have to say I have many RPG's that I really enjoy. PnP as well as CRPG.
I was just wondering if any of you had one in particular that you have enjoyed more than any other. My personal fav is "Amber: Diceless Roleplaying" for PnP and of course the BG, IWD and BG2 games for CRPG. If any of you are familiar with the Amber series by Roger Zelazny I think you would really enjoy the RPG. They went to great lengths to come up with a game that was fun and free flowing. It also uses no dice. Which I am personally thankfull for, as I roll abysmally most of the time after character generation. Perhaps a strong second for PnP is TORG. I am interested in any Games that you may have played that I have never heard of or tried. That could be more difficult than you imagion. I have alot and have played alot more. So...give it a shot and let me know.

Favourite PnP games are (or more correctly were since I've not played in a _long_ time)

1) Warhammer FRP (_NOT_ battle or 40k)
2) Shadowrun
3) anything by Palladium (Rifts, TMNT, N&S)

played hundreds of others, but generally only managed a single session or so of most. Going back a _really_ long time I liked Tunnels and Trolls, but it was way too simplistic. Funnily enough I never liked D&D.

CRPG has to be BG series, not found any others in the strict RP mould that I like.

Fallout and Fallout2 are also pretty good if you haven't tried them. Post Apocolypse strange and fun. They are coming out with a new game soon, kind of a cross between Fallout, CyberPunk and AD&D. Arcanum.

Definately Wizards and Warriors! So much to do and see in the game. You get to create your party and can change their roles with the proper experience gained. You can choose to be a warrior, a preist, a wizard, a rogue, a ranger, a paladin, a bard, a mage, a monk, a samurai, a ninja, or an assassin. You can have up to six characters in your party. You have the option of choosing a human, a dwarf, a pixie, a ratling, an elf, a gnome, a gourk, a whiskah, lizzord or an oomphaz (it is an elephant type character who can carry a LOT and comes with the mana seed trait). I love that each clan has a special trait like whiskahs have "night vision" trait. I love that you can acquire characteristics such as scout, second weapon, kung fu, forge, deathstrike, and many more. I love the sunsets and the butterflys. I loved the puzzels (not to hard to figure out). I love that it takes a while to play and finish the game. I really love this game!! You can check out information, maps, hints, etc. about the game at Rick Voberdings site here: http://www.volberding.com/WHints/index.html
