How do you kill the Copper and Silver Dragons at the end of the game? Or is there something else that I'm suppost to do?

Thank you!

Well, tactics vary with the character
but lets say your a patheticaly weak character...
your best bet would probably be to run away trying to seperate the two dragons by path bugs, and then slowing kill one using normal tactics of recall portaling when low on health

As a fighter I was lvl 19 or 20 by that time and well equipped (and skilled). Went into Parry Mode (Improved Parry, Skill Focus: Parry) and that's how they went down. Their knockdown's were parried, riposted the damage back. When one was dead and another got to bad health too, I went to Improved Powerattack more and just smacked the lights out of it.

But dependant on the class, yes. Might be trickier to the caster, or who knows, maybe easier.

As a level 15 rogue, I dashed off in one direction before the silver noticed me, and tried to worry the copper one long enough for Linu to cast her harm spell. Rested, and did the same for the silver one.

With my cleric/barbarian Half-orc I just used 1 phantasmal killer on each of them. They both died instantly...

BTW: is it just me or is Phantasmal killer THE most powerful and underrated spell in the game? NOTHING has EVER (on my game) survived a single casting of it: balors, dragons, giants, goblins etc... Everything dies.

Maybe (probably insignificant) it helps that I had chosen the death path and magic path but I don't think so...

I still prefer the harm spell. Sometimes you don't want to kill an enemy outright, but rather leave them with a very small amount of hitpoints so they can still surrender and talk to you
