AngelOfDeath, I think you've given me the piece I was missing! The wireless keyboard and mouse... Now, to figure out the shelf mechanism... I like the bass drum harness concept, but I don't know if I've got access to one to experiment

Hmmm... this is getting closer to reality...

I get plenty of excercise while gaming. Get your minds out the gutter! I mean if you play a 1st person shooter, don't lie, you all have to admit that if it's realistic you end up physically ducking away from projectiles flying at you.

Isn't repeatedly clicking your mouse and pressing your keyboard button while playing games is good enough exercise?

AHA, of course, the wireless peripherals... but the harness may prove tricky. If you work it out, Bungleau, send us some photos!

Vaskie, haha....true, I've seen people do that while playing...but you know those virtual rayguns can smart!

What was that old mat called for the nintendo that worked with the track and field game? It would be great if they brought back some active gaming stuff like that other than DDR

The Stand is a nice idea, AoD, but it doesn't work well with a treadmill. The base supporting the stand is right underneath it, making it hard to position that on a standard-size treadmill.

*edit* when I do get it done, Cloudy, I will post pictures.

LOL I just work out by airdrumming on (mostly not ingame) music I would airkeyboard if it would be physically heavy but a lot of BPM blastbeats are better

Of course when I use my hands to play a game I just take a doublebass thingie. Works fine too

My idea comes with diagrams

Image One: Treadmill

Very simple *grin*

Image Two: Treadmill with 42 inch plasma screen on wall. Red leads going to computer.

Image Three: Treadmill, TV, leads to computer and a handmade (Exercise via making a table) table which is just big enough to fit over the treadmill to rest the wireless keyboard and mouse on

Ok, the drawings aren't the idea, and the idea isn't the best, but you get the idea

Vaskez, I do exactly the same thing. I also lean when turning corners on a driving game I just do it subconciously.
