I only reply if I like it. I might add that I've seen it already but mostly to say it's a classic. I think that this applies to all threads not just jokes. If you don't like it and there's no reason for you to post there don't unless you actually contribute something useful. I see the rest as off-topic. Like recently what do some random posts about how punk sucks adn that we all should listen prog metal instead contribute to a post about the death of one of the Ramones but to me it seems pretty off topic and annoying

yay, let's all find more things to hate!

nitpick on LK's post: "I don't like it EITHER" not "as well"

everyone seems to have jumped on the 'i agree, saying 'OLD' is OH EL DEE' bandwagon without thinking about the reason people say OLD'. Reason is, is that a joke is normally old and can probably be found by searching the forum, or is old and was never funny in the first place.

if you dont get told its old, how are you to know?

edit: also, this isnt intended as flame bait, this is actually my opinion.

Is that one of your favorite words Vaseline? You make referrences to it quite often (btw, enjoy the new avatar, I'm nearly out of it's reach )

Well Zero Alpha, as I said before, there's at least one person that says that a joke is old in a joke thread period, so they're all old in some sense or another.

exactly, you can tell the age of the joke by the number of old's it gets

few = releativly unheard

lots = extremely aged
