Could someone give me any advice?
I'm in the underdark now and (as a archer) nearing my limit (1 level to go). My question is: does it pay to install TOB already so i won't have the soa exp gap, OR will it it mess up the story line of soa since I still have to complete the complete that toryline (and I wan't tot do all the soa quests). I actually don't want to be temped to do one of the TOBquest (which will appear I guess if I install TOB). What do you guys think? |

You should definetely install it now - not only will it NOT screw anything up, it will actually make a lot of things better. For instance, the graphic for the Mirror Image spell is much better (the way it is in Icewind Dale, which is how I think it looks best,) you'll be able to use the Tab key to highlight all chests, doors, dropped items you can explore, and a few other neat little additions that make gameplay easier and more fun.

You can install it now. Some people have had problems with SoA slowing down once they installed ToB but it's an unconfirmed bug. Do you have any custom items or 3rd party fixes installed?

You have throne of bhaal and you still haven't installed it, what are you waiting for? Although you should look at Memnochs post on installing throne of Bhaal.

Well I don't have any custom stuff (feels a bit like cheating I guess) and I in fact haven't got TOB yet. I was just wondering if it would pay to install it before finishing SOA. |

In that case, definitely install it. You can access Watchers Keep from SoA.
