How can you change an NPC's portrait?

I'm using Kelsey in my current game, and I'm not very keen on any of his portraits. How can I use one of my own?

I managed to change Imoen’s prorate into something actually resembling her some year ago. sadly I really can’t remember how I did it.

I thought it involved putting the preferred new portraits into the override folder. I tried to replicate this for Tashia and it only half worked, her small portrait changed but her large one is still the same.

If anyone knows how to fix it ..i would be eager to find out as well

Hooray for Shadowkeeper! With shadowkeeper, you can change anything about an NPC, except for their name. Keep in mind that, if you are against using cheating engines, Shadowkeeper is one. If you *do* use it, be careful not to get addicted
