Coming to Austalia was really confusing for me. You go to fill out a form for something like... a tax file number and they ask what your given name is. Or your Christian name, or even your second name.

In the states they call it it First name. (Makes sense seeing as its followed by all the others.) And last name (makes sense because all the other ones are BEFORE it.)

First name: Glen
Middle name: David
Last name: Brock

I still havent figured out which name is my given name, or my Christian, or surname. First middle and last works for me.

Christain Name= First Name, Given Names= every name you were given by your parents, usually its First and Middle. Surname/Family Name= Last name.
