4 Years, maybe not five. To little time to ponder upon. Still not too late. The place, the prison, seems welcoming.

Silent Fall

Cool days and cold night, I can hear sounds from miles away, in Silent Fall.

Silent Fall has come to take me away. Silent Fall has come to take the stress away. I can hear the coyote’s in there pack, miles off. Yet it sounds so close. The Chain of dogs communicating, I can hear, in Silent Fall.

Bleak nights, Bleak starlight night. I stare about the fields, crops blowing in the whispering winds. Rain threatens to fall. Clouds overwhelm the sky.

Cool days and cold nights, I can hear sounds from miles away, in Silent Fall.

Winter is around the corner. Bringing Ice and Chill winds. But its Silent Fall now.

Bleak star light nights. Moon shining through. Birds frolic in the light air. Animals jump and play, in silent fall.

Silent Fall is the time of youth. Silent Fall.

Water flows freely. The waves splashing together. In Silent Fall. All along the grass it goes, flowing freely. And the Grass Grows.

I sit on the green grass
Hear birds singing in the woods
The trees are blossoming now
As new leaves spring from their twigs
All the world seems fresh and warm
New-born almost, peaceful
All has awakened, all has come back
Spring has come again

Now the blossoms have faded
The trees bursting with green
The sun glares down, the wind blows not
Yet I sit in the shade under the trees
Lazy in the heat, dreaming while awake
Cloudless blue sky above me
Summer following spring

The air is cool, a hint of frost
While the trees shed their leaves
I walk along a golden alley
Beneath the oaks and elms
A V of birds flying straight south
Squirrels scurrying on the ground
Apples red hanging on boughs
Waiting to fall with the wind
All is busy, preparing
Summer has ended, autumn has come

The world is coated in glistening white
Everything is quiet
There is no living thing to be seen
As clouds gather on the horizon
It seems as if the world is dead, not asleep
And I am the only survivor
I want to scream, my voice fails me
Silence everywhere
Winter has arrived, grasping the world
In its icy touch
Yet remember, that after winter
Spring always comes, and the world wakes again
And after spring comes summer, then fall
Then winter again, in a neverending cycle
That has always been and will always be.
