Hi all checkin in to see whats going on. How does one get an infected sturnum anyway ? That just sounds painful [img]graemlins/nono.gif[/img] Glad to hear that is all it was

Turns out it's 'just' a bad sternum infection, and they've given me some anti-biotics for it, so hopefully it'll get better. I've had it for four months now, so I'm actually glad to know what it is.

I cracked my sternum (actually somebody else did the cracking) once and know how much that hurt. I'm with Willow on this one. Waiting 4 months doesn't seem like a good idea. Pain is Nature's way of saying "DO something.".

Willow, i already have a fan spinning at full speed at my ceiling, but that's only a little help. I'm taking a cold shower every few hours now.

Hey, Johnny, hold on, September is coming. At least, that's what we say in Texas. As for a sternal infection, I have never heard of it except osteomyelitis, and that is a serious thing, indeed. Maybe they meant costochondritis, which is uncomfortable but not serious.
