I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find the writ to enter the stout mines?
Any help is appreciated.

It's north of the stout mines in a clearing. It's laying next to a body and a treasure
chest. The way I remember it was: as you are leaving the stout mines, walk past 2 right turns, at the next
fork go right, after you do that look for an opening on the left.

(Taken from a thread that is in the Twilight Zone and did not reappear at the top of the Forum when I attempted a reply to get it there...was in those December threads that have taken on an ethereal nature)

Thanks Sumbitch for the answer, I am ready to go there myseslf & did not have a clue!

Ah the old favourite.
1 look at map
2 locate stout mine
3 follow trail back
4 see that island of trees with a clearing in the middle
5 you do good the body is in there
6 get off your horse as he cannot get in which is why I and so many others missed it.

(Contributed by xenotoca~Thank you too!)

I love the search feature! First time I had to use it & 'poof" there the answer is!

Hello |= /-\ C E!

The Miner's Permit can be found by the remains of a charred dwarf. His is slowly turning to compost somewhere to the north and very far west of Shurugeon Castle. Obviously Erathsmeador had a fiery affair with Grundel (the dwarf). When you approach his funeral hill, you will be told by the story guide.

Hope to have helped.

Greetings,

I think you can get a writ if you bribe Pastolio with Boogre Brew.
