Kiwidoc, I am going to say that it was some one else. You don't strike me as the clumsy and shy type!

Okay, here goes. On our wedding night when we got to the cabin. My bride went to take a shower. I went to start a fire in the fire place. Thought it might be romantic. Got the fire roaring and smoked up the whole cabin. Forgot to open the flue. We had to open up every window and door in the place in the dead of winter and snow on the ground. Everything smelled of smoke for days.

Truth or trash?

Sir Taliesin - that has to be true...it is something that would happen to me!

I didn't think I had one good enough to post, but I was reminded of this one...

I shot my second husband.

Charean - I shot mine as well, but unfortunately it was only with a camcorder.

And tell me - do you think the bride between the beds was me or not?

Sir Talieson, yours is "tragic" enough to be true. Glad that your marriage survived that bad start though.

Kiwidoc, Sir Talieson is right that you now don't be seem that shy a person, but in younger days, why not ? So, yes it was you in that story.

Charean, how much of a fool do you think I am ? If that had happened, you sure wouldn't relate that to us in that way: as a one-line punchline in a purely conversational thread. Well, will that statement get me a shooting glance from that sparkle eyes so gut-wrenchingly exciting and fiery I won't be able to find sleep for days ?

Last but not least, Cloudspawner, you story is a perfect example for why this world is such an extremely unfair place: why is it that we all here now have to suffer the consequences of the fact that, back then, that Karina girl had to show up just that decisive fraction of a momemt too early ?

And, Clouddarling, you know, I told you what kind of effect your unique storytelling capacity and style had on me. Bobbing braids ? Sigh !

So long !

R³ - new, much improved signature under construction !
