1) Which game is the newer one? Baldur's Gate 2 or Icewind Dale

2)Which strategy? Fly through the chapters than do the quests or do all the quests than go get Imoen.

3) If I install TOB, can I exceed 2950000 XP while still playing SOA?

4) If you dual wield, what 2 weapons would you want to dual wield?

5) How many "tanks" do you usually have within your party? How about spell casters?

6) If I'm more interested in having my own customized party and am more interested in combat rather than "true" role playing than which game is for me? Icewind Dale or Baldur's Gate 2?

I did all quests first, up to the point that I had to go get her.

I do not know for certain, but I would say yes...

Long swords are what I have, just because of what the particular sword has in way of magical abilities. It depends on what you want out of your weapon. At the moment, I am in ToB, so I could not tell you what two I am wielding, because that may be spoiler

I started with 2, and am now with three tanks, as you call them. The rest are Mages and Clerics, no particular care as to how many.

The downloadable expansion is available NOW, but you will need HoW in order for it to work.

Is it an official expansion, or done by a 3rd party (TeamBG?)

Don't worry, if you have a decent connection, you could download it in no time. I downloaded within 3 minutes, and a couple of friends only needed ten minutes or so. Let's just say you're only screwed with a 56k modem and similar.

1) BG2

2) Do some sides first, then fetch her

3) I guess

4) That sword wich heals you in every hit, and some katana

5) Right now two (or 1˝). Minsc is the mai tank, followed by Keldorn. Then I have some spell backup with my mages, and perhaps, sometimes by Yoshimo.

6) I think Icewind Dale
