Yeah, she is pretty damn good, most people have her in their party when they finish the game, but having said that, variety is the spice of life, and if you have a different party every time you play the game, it becomes so much more fun...

Well I did keep Jahira to the end but did not find her to be that great. During a fight where the team would do a hack and slash job, seems like she would be the first person to die. Maybe the monsters just went for her first. But she was always the first to die. Maybe my playing style did this to her, Maybe I should have played from the back a bit more casting spells??

Mack, maybe that is because she isn't a tank. she is a druid, a priest, who stand in the back row.

Yeah, I kept her till the end too.
Maybe you could replace her, the current party of yours works great.
Exactly same as my party except for the part where I replaced Jan with JAheira.
Well, no big deal.
Always use Keldorn and main character(and minsc) as the frontline fighters.
Aeerie and JAn/Jaheira cast spells in the back. Yoshimo sometimes join the battle melee when necessary but mostly fires ranged attacks.

Kind of thought that. Hence she always dies in a fight. If that is the case I feel the class should have some more restriction on armor. Would keep her out of the battle if they maybe could only wear chain or something. Just a thought.

I have found that what works best for me is to equip everyone with a ranged weapon (bow/sling). Then when an enemy is sighted I launch a massive ranged attack. This usually kills whatever I'm facing before they can even touch me! If they do get close I just switch everyone back to melee weapons and beat out whatever life is left in them.

Single class druids can only wear "Natural" armors. That means leather, and studded leather. I beleave that they can also wear the dragon scale armors.
