For some reason I am unable to run the game in 800x600, and I HATE 640x480. I want to try 1024, but It says, not supported, and I am curious.
I posted this in TOB, but I think I should have posted it here. ------------------ |

I've played it in 1024*768 16bit color, no problem (bit slow on my machine) but it's odd you can't play in 800*600... maybe you've got 3d switched on and your card doesn't support it? then no resolution will work..
Try switching that off and try again.. Btw, anyone tried this? very cool: [baldur.ini] Game options: HP Over Head=1 ------------------ |

Sure I can go all the way up to 1600x1200 and I play at 1024x768 as a rule. What type of puter do you have? (cpu and graphic card) And if you dont enable it, it wont work.

IMO going over 800x600 makes the characters too small and zoomed out on the screen. Maybe some people like that though?

why would you like that? just would make it harder when you are fighting.

You have to switch on "unlock modes" in the configuration table, then you can check the 1024x768 field. This option is not officially supported, but it works as good as any other.

Always play at 1024 * 768, it works just fine on my thunderbird 1 GHz with Geforce 2 MX (DirectX 8) and 256 MB memory

Don't forget to change the refresh rate (set it in the ini file) - otherwise it tends to flicker
