16 dead,$2 billion in damge

I'm sure most of you have heard about the fires out here in California but I don't think most people realize how bad it is. Whole towns are nothing but ash,thousands of people are homeless and there is no relief in sight. It's heatbreaking to see these people on tv who have been devastated by this tragedy.

The worst part is that this was not an accident. Someone saw the person who started all this deliberately setting the fire. He'd better hope he isn't caught. I would gladly put a rope around neck and I don't even live in an area that is affected.

I've been through dozens of hurricanes a couple of tornados, lots of floods and several earthquakes but i've never seen anything this bad. I know this is mild compared to some of the horror stories you here disasters about in third world countries but I don't live in any of those places.

I live in San Diego...and made a thread on this already AMOF, with pictures of a huge fire taken from my house. And there was more than one person for each fire. They say the San Bernadino was started by two men in their 20s, the one that started here in VC by some indians having a bonfire behind a damn casino, and another person started the one in LA. Fires gone from my area now, so all we got is choking smoke [img]tongue.gif[/img]
