This is tough one but I'll have to go with Benny Goodman. Okay, stifle the laughter. I'm serious.

Someone gave me a Yo Yo Ma CD to listen to once and it gave me one of the worst headaches I have ever had in my entire life. I waited a week and gave it another chance and got another headache. Music shouldn't be painful LOL! I do understand that we all have different likes and dislikes and am not apalled that he has a following, his style just rubs me the wrong way. Moni |

I have heard Von(means "Hope" by the way) but not listened to it as much as the new one. The is one song there called "leit að lífi" that they remixed and it is great, I first thought it was Tricky or something, didn't even relise that the guy was singing in Icelandic If you got Napster try searching for it, it's worth it.
So sorry to hear that the concert is sold out, I want to see Radiohead live, they are one of the greats... ------------------ Keldorn's Younger brother |

Anyone know whatever became of Eric Johnson?
I heard "Trademark" going to the store the other day. It brought back so many good feelings and memories that I had to buy the "Ah Via Musicom" CD while we were out tonight. I was really suprised to find it so many years later. (originally released in 1989) Wherever did Eric go? ? Moni ------------------ |

In no particular order these are the bands I listen to or used to listen to.
(since the question was band/musician I haven't included classical composers....and I must say I listen to classical music about 65% of the time, popular music 35 %) (John D the correct spelling in English is Tchaikovsky) The Tea Party Depeche Mode Smashing Pumpkins Sisters of Mercy David Bowie Switchblade Symphony Muse Krezip Tori Amos Dead Can Dance Fields of the Nephilim John Cale Björk Rammstein Nightwish Therion Hugh Wilson Delerium Nevermore Type-O-Negative Daeonia Raison D'être Arcana Terry Bozzio Radiohead After Forever The Gathering Kari Rueslåtten Apocalyptica Nick Cave A Perfect Circle Rhapsody Killing Joke Lacrimosa OK I could go on like this for ages....... luckily for you I won't ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the OHF and the LH Your voice is ambrosia |

I think that Blind guardian & Mob Rules & Lord Belial and Gamma Ray Are very nice, And Concerto Moon and Iron Saviour Too.
------------------ "Then Bane, seeing the lifelessness and ruin in the middle of such beauty smiled, and spoke with a voice like that of carrion: "Let this place resonate with new songs; the cries of the warrior, the melody of clashing swords, the harmony of iron shod boots marching in unison over the stones, the crescendo of the death wail, and the chorus of the widow's lament. Let this place be a tapestry upon which I shall paint new scenes, and blood and ash shall be my pigments. These are the things that I cherish, and they shall dominate this place, as they do wherever the hearts of men are weak and quick to desire." |
