Ahh, nice! I wouldn't mind a Midget or a TR6 myself! The thing to watch out for with Triumphs is that they are quite prone to rust, if you're gonna get one check it carefully - you can cope with patching up the bodywork, but the chassis wants to be sound.

OOOH! My dad and stepmom sold them a few yrs ago but they had a 67 and 69 (think I got those right...) corvette convertibles. Cherry red. LOL The police used to stop them in it just to look at the car! It finally got so expensive to insure the older one, they declared it an 'antique' and only drove it in shows and parades. They sold both before they retired a few years ago.

Woo Hoo! Life is great! The date went really well, in fact we spent most of saturday together and sun morning as well! It blew her mind when I picked her up in the vette, and even more so when I let her drive it yesterday. Thanks for the advice guys!

No it wasn't like that! She stopped by my place this morning. I've gotta pick my daughter up at grandma's house in a few hours, then it's back to work tommorrow (I've been on vacation for a week). I imagine we'll talk tommorrow as she works at my bank but I want to break my daughter in slowly, so maybe I'll invite her over for a BBQ next weekend.
She seems to be quite interested and not scared off by my daughter, so it looks promising but I'd like to make sure it's going to be semi serious before she get's involved in Ashley's life.

I am glad it went well though, and yeah, I think you're right about waiting before getting her involved with your daughter, make sure it's the right time & all.
