I've just got out of Irenicuses dungeon at the start of the game and have no lvl5+ spells.What are good spells to get?. I'm also broke at the mo so I'll have to get some money from a few quests before buying scrolls.

Anyone?.Also I was wondering why he seems to advance faster than a normal mage. Is that cause he cant us all the spells.I've got 2 other mages so I'm not bothered about that.

Get breach. I don't know if this spell is from the opposite school for necromancers but i don't think so. He's leveling up faster ? Well, that might be explained due to his placement in the group. Say you earn 1.000 exp points and have 6 party members. 1.000 can't be divided by six. So the game rounds the experience down to a number that can be divided by six. the leftovers are divided according to the placement of your characters.

Breach Animate Dead (especially for a Necromancer) Chaos Spell Immunity Cloudkill (if you don't have a good thief and a wand) Domination -- Nifft |

Necromancers are specialist mages, so they gain an extra spell slot per spell level.
Some nice level 5 spells, which you should either buy or steal, BREACH Lower Resistance Animate Dead( memorise this when your Necromancer hits level 15) Spell Immunity Feeblemind Hold Monster ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Cavalier meting out justice. Otherwise, I think I will just be a Blade and torture my enemies with, "My Heart Will Go On". Platinium Sorcerer of ALSB, Aerie Loving Sacred Band!
