Literally
I am looking for something to spruce up my PC and it's down to these two:
Thermaltake Rocket
OR
Zalman Resonator
Well what do you think of both? The zalman is a bit more expensive, and I am a big Thermaltake fan, so I am leaning towards the Rocket....
Does anyone have either of these?

lol, we havn't had a "which to buy" thread for a while, and I know how much people like them

Depends on how much noise the rocket makes. If it's just a low hum, go for that one. Anything noisier, I would go for the Zalman Resonator. And the cool name gives it points in my books.

I like the look of the Zalman, the blue anodization is cool. However the extra $65 and the more restrictive CPU compatibility list make the Thermaltake the winner in my book.

yeah, true

The one thing that bumps up the Zalmans score is this.... The video card adapter, but I don't think i will have any problems cooling my video card, well not untill I decide to do some major overclocking...

Ooh! Watercooling

I've been considering this for a while but lack of money has put me off for now. Both will probably do a great job.

If it's any use to you, PC Format reviewed the Zalman one and scored it quote highly (~80%+ iirc).

The VGA block is a good idea too however - even if you're not planning any major overclocking. It's all about noise. Those little fans can make a fair racket and it would be such a shame to have near silence apart from the buzz of the graphics card. Of course, you'd need a passive power supply too to achieve complete silence but that's another expense for another day.

Let us know which one you go for!

First of all, it's Reserator. Resonator would do something different to your PC, and trust me, you wouldn't like it.
Second, I would take the Zalman if I was you. It is a heavier, bulkier thing, but far as I hear, it is the best fanless available. Sure, the Rocket comes close. If money is an issue, take the rocket.

You know what I think about the Thermaltake one. Go the Zalman one cause it is Blue and it does have some expantion options.
edit. What about the BigWater kit? it has some pretty cool things you can add into the line (thermometors, flow meters, VGA cooling, stuff like that).
