For Liam

Liam has arrived at the destruction that occured at Lesismoore castle. As he looks about, he can see that the tower is the only thing that has suffered damage from the exterior view. There are some people inside, but there are few. Outside, the tower's rubble contains nothing but rubble. There are scents lingering of people you recognize, however. Larry and Nanashi. There are two other human scents that you do not recognize. There are no bodies, and the scents of those four people do not go anywhere but right here within the rubble.

Another interesting fact as you stroll around the castle's swampy exterior is that there is a large canal dug out in the ground at the base of the castle, and large dams that have been hastily constructed to hold back the marshy swamp from filling in the ditch. Muddy foot prints are everywhere, and one lone female elf that you have never seen before sits at the step to the entrance of Castle Lesismoore. This entrance is to the right of the destruction of the tower. She has not yet seen nor heard your approach.

OOC>>>Liam has spotted Anarrima

For Kynnen

As you travel along, you come to a turn in the cave as it leads you left. You follow this until you come to an underground lake, that seems lifeless. All of your years in the Underdark however has taught you not to believe in such things as that, however...but as you pass by it, nothing comes from the water to hunt you. You leave the water behind and come to a large opening and a dead-end. There is a figure standing there in the dark, armored, and brandishing a weapon. There is a sword protruding from his back as well. He is facing in the opposite direction, standing at the far end of the cavern.

OOC>>>Kynnen has spotted Kivmor Snowdale's corpse.

Yevaud

Yevaud looked at Marcos, "I do not like this, uneasy dead cannot be trusted, nor should they be permitted to exist as crimes against the natural order." He looked to the others, and continued, "Whatever you wish to call it, laying them to rest, destroying them, they must be cleansed from this place."

The ghost's anger was visible as he became more monsterous, his human features melting away in whisps of smoky ghostly essence.

He roared at Yevaud.

"Do you think I desire to exist like this? I am trapped this way until you can destroy that emerald, STUPID ELF! If you are afraid of the dead that do not sleep, you had better leave this place now...for there is far worse than I awaiting you!"

The ghost laughed like a maniac, cackling which reverberated all over the large, spooky room. Then he vanished from the sight of everyone. His laughter however did not fade.

Yevaud

The elf seemed unimpressed by the spirit's maddened laughter and it's rage. He glanced at his gloved hand as though checking his nails, blew some air on them, and once it had finished it's rant said without looking up, "Begone fiend, Your lies will find no believer here, your fate, at least for now is to be bound to this place, whether you willed it upon yourself or not is irrelevant. My steel will disperse your essense as surely as destroying some fictitious gemstone. By raging as an evil spirit you merely reveal the depth of your treachery and that of your deception." Yevad then lowered his hand and slowly and deliberately looked up at the empty air. In a soundless motion drew his blade and pointed it at where the spirit had last been. His texts had said that the ethereal dead often reform at a later time after being destroyed, but usually not for days, more than enough time for them to be in and gone again, if the creature showed itself again. Yevaud reasoned that even if it had told the truth it was likely only telling part of the story, enough of a carrot to make them lower their guard and then they would be betrayed on an unforseen side.

The ghost stopped its taunting of the elven male.

It reappeared in Yevaud's face, staring him eye to eye.

"I have had enough of you!!!

OOC>>>By looking at the stats between Yevaud and the ghost, Yevaud can make a move now while the ghost is ending its sentence, and attack if he so chooses, or he can withdrawl a step. The choice is your's.

Inquisitor Marcos of Snowdale - 98/98

The inquisitor locked his gaze on the spirit, and it was as sharp as any razor could be.

"Sir Fortlight."

He spoke with strength behind the words, and expected to be obeyed.

"You will conduct yourself properly while in my presence. I will not tolerate this hostility.
"You may answer to the elf's scepticism and tell us how the tale of a confessed traitor contains but the truth and all of it."

Manessah Fortlight

There was an odd fact about Manessah that could not have been guessed. Manessah's treachery had caused the death of his king, and sixty-two other people along with his own life. One of those sixty-two people was Lord Kivmor Snowdale, who was actually the only person to die by the hand of Manessah's greed.

Being that this murder led to the entire kingdom being cursed, things have a way of coming back on a person. Where Manessah was not loyal to his Lord Kivmor Snowdale in life, he was unable to resist the pull of obedience to the Lord Marcos Snowdale in undeath.

The ghost ceased his attack on Yevaud, turned to his Lord and bowed low to the ground.

"Forgive me, my Lord. I will never again make an attempt to harm one of your loyal soldiers. If you desire, I shall lead you into the rooms where are hidden those helmed horrors and help you disengage them. It is better that they be taken one at a time, rather than both at once.

Command me, Sir."

Joseph and Larry

After giving pause for a considerable amount of time, Joseph began his spell, since nobody had any questions nor comments.

He traced patterns in the air so delicately, yet with such dexterity that Larry's eyes could not even follow them. Every third or fourth illustration was heightened by syllables from a language that reminded Larry of elvish, yet it was not any elven tongue that he'd ever heard. The words were very beautiful, not containing any malice that the Shadow spells used. Larry was wondering about this, since the door was to be opened to the Shadow Realm.

The spell that Joseph wove indicated the perimeters of where the immersion in dimensions, or some would say tear should occur, and where and when it was to close up again. When he was finished, he turned to those that stood by, with wonder in their eyes.

"Let us move with haste now. Follow me and do not forget the warnings I gave."

Joseph stepped forward and was gone from sight. Larry rushed ahead to be next in line, followed by Morgie and taking up the rear was Senora, who entered reluctantly for she still had her own doubts about these people. However, she remained obedient to the command she had been given, and trudged along.

As Larry walked forward, the light of day melted away as he passed through the overlapping fold of dimensions. It was like the sun was setting at the speed of a wild horse. He saw Joseph just ahead and rushed to catch up to be right behind him, and was aware of the other two comrades behind.

All around, it was as if they were walking at night in the same grove. There were shadows of trees and mountains about, but in this lightless void, he could not swear that they were in fact in the same place. He would just have to assume that Joseph was leading them in the right direction. It looked so much different here than the last time Larry and Morgie had plane-walked. This place was not so scary, but the scenary of shadowed images began to fade away into less and less to look at.

Just when Larry wondered how much longer they had to walk, Joseph opened his arms up and appeared to glow as brightly as if he were on fire of white light. Larry hastened his step and realized that what he had seen on Joseph was actually sunlight, since he had walked out of the fold in dimensions. The plane-walk was over! Larry ran ahead and was bathed in light that suddenly grew so bright he had to close his eyes and open them slowly to adjust. He was aware that the other two behind him came out of the plane-walk equally as disoriented as he was, while waiting on their eyes to adjust to daylight.

When Larry dared to open his eyes again, he saw Joseph standing in front of him, who was engaged in staring at something large in front of him. Larry looked up, and up and up...a cold chill starting up his spine despite of the warm sun. He recognized the building before him, even before Joseph made the statement,

"It appears we have arrived at your dark tower, young Silverfall."

Larry stared with increasing fear at the structure before him. It was not like the tower from before. The previous tower had been built with pure shadow, which had crumbled when the link between this world and the shadow realm had been severed at his death. This building had an enforcing stone built in with the shadows however that made it stronger. It was like no stone Larry had ever seen. Another improvement he noted was that there was no door and no window. It appeared to be a solid rock of black essence, defying the light of day with its own emission of obscurity gleaming from it. No light reflected from any part of the structure, rather it appeared as if Night herself stood before them. Larry shuddered involuntarily.

Why were they here again?

Kynnen 73/85

"Maybe that one is responsible for the killings?" Kynnen thought as he was trying to sneak through the tunnel. Soon tho, he waved the thought off, realising that this man too is dead. A sword was in his back, but somehow he was still standing. As Kynnen enters the chamber, he quickly looks around before moving closer to the standing cadaver. Ducking and leaning, Kynnen looks for any sticks or whateve could make him stand. As weird as things were here, he almost expected it to talk.
