He and his cronies are kicking the crap outa me and my party.
I am using the improved/harder patch for all the "bosses". One thing that sucks about this fight. On almost every other fight, just before hell breaks loose you can pause it to get ready. But After Gromnir stops talking, you click end conversation his mages are already silencing Imoen and powered up. I have absolutly no time to cast Planetar or Elemental or anything. Luckily I cast defensive spells before climbing the stairs. GRRRRRRRRRRRR... |

If you have 'chain contigency' - use it

Tip: Amulet of Power grants permanent Vocalise. If you notice... most of the men were dead before the skeleton warriors got out of the ground properly.

You have trouble with Gromnir (such as i would expect from a simian like him!) Anyhow knock out his mages first thenuse brute force on Gromnir.

Gromnir and his freinds are dead. I only suffered two deaths, Seravok and Sanelise, my skald. Seravok would not disengage with Gromnir, and so died..
I entered room, cast time stop with Imoen. Cast a few spells. Then I had Jaheira cast summon Fire Elm and Vic summon fallen Deva. Seravok would not listen to my call of retreat and died, Sanelise died on the way over to the stairs. Got em down and cast mass Res. Hasted. Prot from Evil. Went back up. Summoned Pit Fiend. Sanelise rana nd got her equipment. Ran downstairs. Back up Jah cast summon Deva, Vic cast summon Arial Servant. Ran back down. Healed up. Went back up. Imoen cast some kind of Death Fog. enemies drop like flies. Go down, heal and watch as one by one they die...go back up and mop up th efloor with Gromnir... |
