Whats the least amount of game time you used to finish BG2?

With a Fighter/Illusionist+Jan duo I got through soa and tob with about 48 days/14 hours, doing every major quest including watcher keep.

But not Nalias house because she died while I did slavers.

Tom, how long did it take you in real-time?

Also: how many times did you rest (estimated; in-game)?

About a week.

I'm not sure how many times I rested during SoA but I know I rested less than ten times in ToB because of Jan stealing Wish scrolls and blackrazor.

Not very informative but I don't really recall.

As I recall, my solo cleric beat SoA in just under 50 days, completing every single noteworthy quest available to him as well as every new encounter added by Tactics (including those connected to WK's exterior), but not the inside of WK. I think that is my shortest completion time for SoA, never intentionally tried to run through the game as quickly as possible though.

I wonder, how quickly could a solo Sorcerer beat both SoA and ToB? Since he wouldn't need to ever rest again once he gets access to Wish, which is pretty early on in a solo game, it could probably be done in less than 30 days if you don't waste any time travelling back and forth betwen places.

Same for me Moon-Child_Lman

I could have got less than 100, but one time I slept and it said:
"Your party has rested for 145 days, 8 hours"
I wasn't patched at the time, maybe they were just really really tired

Were you "waylaid by enemies" beforehand? Depending on the amount of enemies, that number of days to recover could be warranted LOL.

Well, are you asking for just time through SoA, or SoA+ToB?
