There is a very easy way to win - but are you prepared to be spoilt?

I was a while ago.

Using cheese, you can strip your party naked and run around waving your arms and still defeat Firkragg... ...

Using certain tactics, you will only lose minimal life, at most -20 Hp... ...

Using bravado, you will be constantly on the edge as your heart beats from constant fear that somebody is gonna die... ...

I personally like using bravado... but it tends to lead to reloads.

By bravado, I mean not buffing up with spells beforehand, just walk straight to the Dragon, talk smack and start the fight.

If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Paladin meting out justice. Otherwise, I think I will just be a bard and torture my enemies with, "My Heart Will Go On".

Platinium Sorcerer of ALSB, Aerie Loving Sacred Band! She's MeowRrrr, and more!

It's not available THAT early on in the game... well, theoretically it IS, but you'll need to have a whole chunk of experience behind you to be able to get through the quest surrounding it and to defeat the sword's guardian, hoooo yes. I left the quest in question last, and it was still a challenge.

i my self never used it as i don;'t like it
when you got strong characters to fight, The fight itself is the fun

actually I don't think the guardian is that hard really. There are plenty of non cheese strategies that let you do it fairly early in the game (characters around level 10 or 11).
proper preperation is key first of all. also you can do a great deal of damage in the first round of combat before he is aggressive. some thief traps thrown in also helps alot here.
