I'm going to go and see this move tonight. Am I wasting my time and money, or is it OK?

I'm not expecting Oscar nominations here, just entertainment.

I saw it today and thought it was a great game to movie adaptation. Worth the money and time

I saw Resident Evil last night and I must say, it was much better than I expected. It was predictable and not very well acted, but very fun. Some of the effects were a little fake, but overall I give it a thumbs up.

The start is particularly good.

Especially easy to guess how the movie goes if youve played the game. The part I thought was humerous was the end was such an obvious lead up to a sequel and when she stood in the street with the shotgun looked like something duke nukem would do

Its excellent! I just love the visual design (has anyone seen the big cardboard cutouts?) and the movie is pretty decent. On a side note, did anyone else think that the zombies looked like they were at this giant rave party?

I know this topic is a little old by now, but hey this movie just got here Saturday! Anyhow this movie was way way better than I thought it would be. I'm not going to lie to you all videogame turned movies suck. (Well at least to me.) This one actually turned out pretty good. Now you know exactly how the zombies got into the city, and what caused the whole charade. Hopefully one of the resident evil characters are in the sequel. And what was that girls name??? I'm not sure. Was that her name in the movie? I don't think they ever mentioned it.
