I'm so sorry to hear that Jorath. I think it's inevitable that when people die we wish that we had done more to let them know how we felt, but it's never enough, especially when they die unexepctedly or well before their time. I'm sure she knew that you cared, so try not to think about what you didn't do, but what you did do.

...it is, sad, but I hope we can all take something positive from it. Stay in touch! Whether it's a quick email, a card or a phone call. Most of my friends are a time zone away, but I keep in touch, 'cos frankly, nobody's that busy, and you just never know...

Thanks everyone, I met with some mutual friends tonight and we just spent the night talking, comforting each other and sharing memories. It was very sad, I have a huge lump in my throat and stomach, but also a good thing to do, I feel much better than I did today.

Thanks again it's good to know you can always count on your fellow Ironworkers...

So sorry to hear that Jorath, my condolences and sympathy. My boss's wife died last month, and I knew her pretty well, she died while I was on summer vacation. It is really hard coming to terms that you will never see that person again, ever. A heartbreak for those that knew her, devastating for those family members that were the closest.

I know how you feel Jorath. Just remember her, remember all the good things, and cherish them, and in time the loss won't feel so intense as it does now. *Hugs*

Sorry to hear that Jorath, I know what's it feel likes when an old friend dies. I had to undergo the same feeling too few years ago when my very very close friend died.

My condolences, Jorath. I know that I feel similarly when anyone I once loved goes into the Beyond.

I am so sorry to hear that.

I am glad you and your friends could comfort each other...it seems a grave loss that she would die so soon. I hear you about guilt. When someone we love die...we feel guilty for all we never did...
