I can remember detailly about what happened in the past thousands of years in Faerun, such as elven crown war and arcane ages... etc etc while I am getting a D in American Economic history (200 years)

sigh... is it just me? or everyone is like this in some way?

Try treating American History as if it were the background for a role-playing campaign, and the major players as NPC's. Maybe that might help!

Cheers,

I agree with Saz...
You have to feel like it is fun.
It is all in how you perceive it.
