Infinite Wisdom

An angel appears at a faculty meeting and tells the dean that in return for his unselfish and exemplary behavior, the Lord will reward him with his choice of infinite wealth, wisdom, or beauty.

Without hesitating, the dean selects infinite wisdom.

"Done!" says the angel, and disappears in a cloud of smoke and a bolt of lightning.

Now, all heads turn toward the dean, who sits surrounded by a faint halo of light.

One of his colleagues whispers, "Say something."

The dean sighs and says, "I should have taken the money."

By the way what would someone who is infinitly beautiful look like?

I mean since "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

just wondering...

That was good. I would have chosen the money, 'cause with money you can buy all the wisdom (advisors) and beauty (plastic surgery) you need! he got ripped off.

In a lot of eyes of a lot of beholders (any edition), plastic surgery does not equal beauty, so I wouldn't actually say that money can buy beauty.

Nor wisdom, come to think of it. You can have a veritable army of the smartest advisors in the world, but that won't stop you from doing the wrong things with the right advice.
