Have any of you ever had a spider talk to you?

LOL! I've been playing this game on and off for years now, and never before came across it.

Never had, nor heard of, ANY NPC do anything like this in battle. Looks like you found an easter egg.

EDIT: What mode and difficulty setting are you on?

Hmm, it is quite possible that if this is real most of us would miss it because we were not paying attention to the text box. I know I only occasionally glance at it when I am in battle. Very Interesting!!

Normal mode, normal difficulty. IWD with HoW installed and fully patched, no TotLM.

Heh, I noticed the line of blue text go by in a flash (it actually stood out quite a bit among the white text which is normal in combat), so I became curious, paused and scrolled up. Imagine my surprise. [img]graemlins/lol.gif[/img]

Hey, I found something very similar in BG.

A kobold said something like "We kobolds dont speak common, okay?". (this was just a normal average hostile kobold, like the spider here).
