I am afraid to drink public water WillowIX. So carrying around water bottles gets to be a hassle. Generally I pack a 12 once coldy to go. My boys and I like to hit it hard in the summer also.

Thanks for the heads up!

Let's see.

2 bottle of Vodkice: 780 ml
5 rum and cokes: 1 L
2 glasses of wine: 200 ml

Not bad: 2.080 L of fluid. ... Well, if you consider that booze dehydrates you I guess it's bad. But on paper it looks good

Not bad, not bad at all. Now everything we drink contains water. But you can't recommend in alcohol or milk. I don't know if there is any converter but 2 liters of water is perhaps the equivalent of 2½-3 liters of milk? As soon as it is not pure water the body will not absorb as much.

Attalus, I believe watered scotch will out you on the plus side. Depends on how much you water it of course.

So basically, anything that contains water counts! BUT anything that is not pure water you will need to drink more of than 2 liters. (not coffe and beer though since those actually dehydrate the body). If you are sweating a lot, mix a little salt in the water to maintain that balance as well.

I suppose 15 cups of tea a day will suffice.

well tea is diuretic so you'll probably have to drink more still

Luckily, you get water through other things. It is impossible for a human to survive over two days without water.

I drink fluids of some sort or another all days every day. Typical consumation: coffee, tea, bullion, and diet soda. Those are probably all bad for me but I dislike just plain water.
