Kar_mod1 spake thusly:

46c = what, 90-100F?
IIRC, 36c is in the 90-100F range. 46c... well, that's halfway to boiling water... around 113F, from my quick calculations.

More than warm enough for me, thanks. And no comments about it being a dry heat, either... those are grounds for justifiable homicide in some places.

Arsales,

Good to know more about you! Personally, I wouldn't worry about coming up with the best character possible -- you can't actually get those until much later in the game.

Instead, I'd pick a character (or set of characters) that sound fun, and get to it! If you decide after a while that you don't like them very much, no problem! Toss them away for a new party, or put 'em in hibernation until a later day.

**Forgot to mention that my first car was a 1972 Chevy Nova, red in color, that I took from 40,000 to 95,000 miles before it went to my brother. That car was indestructible, practically -- it always won the battles. Still one of my favorites. **
In any case, please...

46c is 114.8 in the old language. When I returned to Perth from Broome in tropical NW Australia I hoped that it would be a bit cooler, but I had forgotten what Perth was like. The day I got back it was 46c & it stayed over 40c for almost 2 weeks.

Well, here goes. I guess I am the oldest so far. I am 55 years old and like Ann Macaffrey is fond of saying, I have dark brown eyes and strawberry blonde hair (with a touch of grey)and the rest is subject to change (too often). I love science fiction/fantasy and write the stuff too. Not published yet, but I've begun to get a little notice. Anyway, I live in a fantasy world most of the time unless I am dealig with my 9 month old grandson (then you HAVE to be in this world)and if the truth be told living with the same man for 32 years you get sort of comfortable where you are.
So I love horses, cats and country living. If I had my way I'd live on the computer,(not that I can really work one. I crash mine about once a month and my niece has to come in and set things to rights again). Mine is a new Dell 4300S that my mother gave me for my birthday this year. Oh, well, what more is there to say! Oh yeah, we are in the midst of moving from urban Denver to rural (ie a 100 acre family farm)Tennessee.

I gotta tell ya, Wanted, that I've run into very few people actually married to a house. I heard of some tribal society where a woman might get married to a stick, but not to a bunch of 'em with a door and windows.

'Round here, I've been educated to the fact that my beloved is not a housewife, but a professional mother. Or "Stay-At-Home Mom", as the current journalists like to say. I used to say that her full-time job was making sure our kids lived to kindergarten, and the first one made it this year. In another three years, I'm going to have to come up with a new job description for her... assuming I'm allowed to live that long.
