Yeah, Sazerac, me too! That was (ahem) almost 35 years ago... Jeesh! I hope that kinda thing doesn't still go on! Actually, as far as the writing goes, she kinda did me a favor 'cause I use a left-handed mouse and it makes for easier multi-tasking... But I'm still kinda p|ssed about the scissors!

Well, I am at University taking Cartoonist classes and there was accutaly a petition from a church to get rid of all the adult cartoons in the libraries. 90% of what they considered adult wasn't even pornographic. I would agree somethings we need to shield the kids from but it musn't turn in a witch hunt.

Strahd: It happens. It has happened just recently, either in Kentucky or Ohio, I forget which one. Along with a bunch of Harry Potter books and other material that these people have deemed "satanic." All sorts of AD&D gaming materials were part of the conflagration.

I'll see if I can find the article on the Internet. A search on "Satanism" and "Harry Potter" will probably bring it up. "Satanism" and "D&D" brings up far too many other things.

John: would that so many more of those who follow your way would practice the True spirit of their belief as you do! It is those such as you that gives me hope for Christianity and that the bulk of the good people who practice it will prevail over those who use it for perpetrating darkness and evil.

I did a lot of reading on Christ as a youth... People who do this kind of thing in his name are hypocrites as Christ was a true loving AND accepting soul... Whether or not he was indeed the son of God, I can't say, but the world would be a much better place if Christians actually followed his teachings and not the twisted thing organized religion can sometimes become... Ahem, sorry, I usually make it a rule not to talk religion or politics as people become very upset over both... But the 'true' Christians I've been lucky enough to meet are the ones out there helping people in His name and not burning books or throwing stones at those who just happen to have a different belief system... Ahem. Sorry, again.

Well, I won't tell anyone you talked about it if you don't tell them I did..

I can say with total faith, Christ is the son of God. I can say I'm not here to 'convert' anyone and I PLAY the AD&D games. I can also say, that EVERY belief system or faith has some fanatic/extremist factions. And that's about all I'm going to regale you all with!
