That's the point of all the shots. It had the error message about the keyboard not working, yet I could press Print Scrn normally. See?

Ok, but what had Microsoft in mind when making these messages (not in your particular case)?
The 'monitor not responding' is senseless but ok, because you could hear the *ding* of the popup while not seeing anything (yeah, I know this is weak ).
But the keyboard message is a bit more mysterious. It's good to know that the kb is not responding, but that should be it. The 'press F1 or F2' thingy is the part that make no sense at all (perhaps 'press mousebutton1 or 2' is better).

Actually, the 'press F1 or F2' message dates back from DOS. It is the oldest of the messages here.

I would have to say a nusence virus, just to annoy.
Think about it:
download new drivers without internet connection
moniter disconnected how are you able to read it
use keyboard because of keyboard fault
anyway you have your new computer coming so i wouldn't worry too much

No virus. I have Nod32. If Nod32 says I have no viruses, I have no viruses. Nod32 is God.

NOD32?

Is this the famous virus-scanner made by Kane?

the ammount of viruses and variants out there and different compilers and compression methords avaliable which make the coding different and undetectable to a scanner are massive. And if the virus is not in a current scanner defintion and the heuristics scanner isn't detecting any "virus like" similarities then it won't be detected.
