In BG2 I think the evil party beats the hell out of the good, but personally I prefer Lawful Neutral.

Choatic good is the best.I've been evil and that just makes everything cost a load to buy. Also most of the quests are good orientated. Thats one of the bad things in this game. You can never be truely evil I've found. Although I may be wrong. Besides chaotic good allows to be good and be flexible. If you were Lawfull good then you are bound by your word to kill Valygar playing chaotic you don't have to. He's an excellent fighter.

I prefer either a Lawful Good, or a Neutral Evil, sorta opposite ends of the pole, but it pisses me off that there hasnt been enough thought into being a chaotic evil character. because in some situations you need to be "goodie-goodie" for the story to progress, or you dont get as many exp points. I tried to be a Chaotic Evil Necromancer before and it was pretty bad, as i had to be good to people for the linear parts of the story.

Lawful Evil Reflects my personality. I dont believe that everyone who plays a Lawful Good or Chaotic Good is really a saint or bad-person turned hero

Did you know that one of Irenicus' stats (from shadow keeper) portray his alignment as Chaotic Good?! Another one is Chaotic Neutral (i think)
Sure says this about chaotics (Chaotics are basically crazy people, like insane)
Chaotic Neutral are people who have gone mad (mostly)
