Thats part of the theory anyway.

OK, ill be practical instead of philosophical - whether this world really IS or whether it is a dream that ends when you "die", i.e. wake up, this has no influence on "real life" as we think of it. But its interesting to speculate about so ill follow this thread for a bit

According to many eastern philosophies, that is exactly what life is...a dream of the Soul (or Spirit if you will). "Throughout its entire incarnating cycle, the Soul is in meditation deep." (meaning a type of suspended animation or dream state).

In that case, though, what is a dream?

I agree. I saw it again last night for the third time. Unreal.

The only thing we can be sure of, or "know" is that we exist as an entity and awareness. Knowing yourself would thus be a priority I'd imagine

Does it matter if all is real or a mental construct? What matters is that we make it real through sensory reception, we can either enjoy it, hate it, bail out, or be apathetic towards it.

If the entire world was just a dream of mine, (Or any of ours for that matter.) it would definitely be a whole lot wierder. To be serious you don't really know. Just live your life, or your dream, or whatever you want to call it, as well as you can until it ends.

I look at it like this. Live life to its fullest. I doesn't matter how we got here or if we are real or not. We are here is some form so I just try and enjoy it.

I agree. Some more magic, dragons, elves, dwarves etc. and some less poverty, war, pollution etc. Looks like youve disproved the theory that we were dreaming this, Red! Congratulations!

(Unless, of course, this is SOMEONE ELSE'S dream????? )
