it doesn't count if you look at the list then deliberately pick someone not on there (unless you were gonna pick them anyway).

Sigmar is not on that list

Nope and I've never heard of them so they can't be much good
It's a friend of mine, and actually, he IS pretty talented. His CD must be on Kazaa if i'm not mistaken. If you have the time , check it out sometime. The album's name is "escape from the fridge".
OK will do, was only joking about him being no good, obviously I don't know cos I haven't heard his stuff, hehe.

I like alot of old school rappers-

G.U.R.U from Gangstar deserves a mention, He's got mad flow, a smooth voice, and intelligent lyrics. Poetry and commentary in motion.
Not to mention G.U.R.U stands for Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal.
Along with D.J. Premier, Gangstar is my Favorite Hip-Hop Duo. And they got a new Album droppin!

The Pharacyde are the funniest rappers.

Q-tip and Fife from A Tribe Called Quest also deserve props. "I lost my wallet in El Segundo" is a classic. And the album "Low End Theory" is a hip-hop masterpeice!

When you dis rap, you dis yourself...

You were tryina be a smartass about something you obviously don't know enough about. If my 50 year-old father who mainly likes classical music and jazz likes a lot of my rap collection then it shows that all you need is an open mind and time to find the gems.

That's like setting someone in South Africa with a pick and shovel and telling him to "find the gems."

I used to really like Eminem, but I don't so much now. I only like a couple of his songs, a lot of them suck. I also really like Missy Eliott.

Well, I don't really like rap at all, so it's probably best I stay out of this thread

But I thought Eminem was good at a time, but when I heard his song about him putting his wife's body in a trunk, that was shot to hell
