If you could be ANYTHING, and ANYWHERE you'd want to, where/what would you be?

I'd like to learn Japanese, live in Japan, own the largest manga/anime collection possible and eat delicious Asian food.

That's kind of a wild dream, but I'll try to make it more and more real as time passes - the first steps would be to study Japanese history, customs, language, and visit a Japanese restaurant.

OH, the heavenliness of Japan!

I would be an American Soldier.
I would travel the world promoting Democracy.
I will do it for peanuts in pay, and only 30 days leave annually.
Stay deployed for 12 months at a time.
Be ridiculed by a public that doesn't understand.
But, again, do it for the same public so that they may remain free with both speech and rights!
I would be enlisted so I could raise some caine with silly acting cruits, and be professional with grown men.

Or,
...???

Think Bill Gates, without the theft, with the money. Without the wife.

I would be living in a nice house (cottage style I guess) near a lake in New Zealand with a wife, some kids and a couple of dogs. I've got a skiff (single person boat) down by the water, so that I can get up every morning, row some and watch the sun come up.

I'll probably end up on the opposite side of the scale but hey: a guy can dream right?
