Is the Maven Sword actually in the crypt? I only found the signet.
Where is the ring of the saint? I thought I looked all over the secret room. . . |

No, the Mavin Sword is not in the crypt. You get that much later in the game. The ring of saints is found in the room above the mummy's room - near the table there. Good Luck!!! Wyv typo message below [This message has been edited by Wyvern (edited 06-17-2001).] |

The only problem with Ring of Saints is that it can be found only after you get appropriate guild quest! I remember very well how desperately I've searched the crypt for this ring and then it turned out that I forgot to get the quest for it after some loading of previous saves...

A note about the Ring of Saints:
The ring survives the Reset Adventure option. You can take the quest, get the ring and then reset. The ring is yours. Now: 1. The ring appears in the Crypt only if you have got the quest AND if you haven't the ring in your inventory. 2. If you have the ring in your inventory and if you are getting the quest in the Temple, the quest will be completed immediately and you lose your ring. Summary: If you own an "extra" Ring of Saints then give it to your mules in the inn before getting the quest and during completing it. It is safe to wear the ring before and after the quest. |
