Could you please tell me how to use and avatar here?

First, welcome!

Now, you aren't allowed to choose your avatar. They are determined by how many posts you have. As you increase in posts, your avatar will change.

However, if you want to put a picture in your signature that is quite doable. just find a pic, get somebody to host it, and go to "profile" on the top right hand side of the screen, and go to the bottom box. You can also put in text: titles, quotes, etc.

I'm sure somebody will be happy to help you with getting a sig if that's what you want. Just ask around.

Go to the button called "Graphics Library" up at the top right or click here:
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles.html

And pick one of the images you like, and type ::nameofimage:: (Only one ":" though)

Or call images by full URL..
