...comfortably numb

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re sayin’.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I can’t explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

I blame it on too much exam reading...

Only a week to go before the last one... yey

Well, I hope the voices in your head aren't the high-pitched Beegee/Village People knockoffs that have terrorised the airwaves recently with their rather strange interpretation of the old Pink Floyd track...

Good luck with your last exams, in any case.

I have "High Hopes" that you'll do great on the exam, and I'm sure that an excellent career is awaiting you involving lots of "Money," maybe on "Wall" street. Just remember, not to get "Lost for Words."

The moral of the story:

This is your brain...
This is your brain on Pink Floyd...
Any Questions?
