I have some questions about them. I know it depends on your alignment what familiar you get. What, if i use a scroll? And where can i find a list about all the familiars, with hps, abilities and so on. Do you know a good web site about this? THX

i cant be stuffed telling you the list so just go to the spell in your spell book and right click on it and scroll down. It will show what is the required and what they are and the attributes and abilities.

If you find the mage scroll for a familiar it actually tells you what you get for different alignements.
Also, I'm sure it's somewhere on here www.thecomputershow.com/computershow/walkthroughs/baldursgate2walk.htm#magestronghold faily that try www.gamebanshee.com/baldursgateii/ both top sites anyway. ------------------ |

My rabbit is actually useful. I cast invisibility on him, and since he has no attack it lasts untill we rest. Even if I do a group attack he stays invisible. Then I have him search for traps. I have not found a good way for him to walk (hop) in front yet.
I wish his skills would improve as I level up. ------------------ I'm confused. Explain to me again how peace and forgiveness will help me to crush my enemies and make them suffer. Sherpa Doug |

Familiars are great for a mage, but Ive never found the need to use them in combat. I like my familiar nice and safe in my backpack. That way I get the extra hp for my mage, and my familiar stays nice and safe. I bring him out sometimes in taverns and such were there isn't any fighting, but I dont' want him to get killed.
