Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Wishing everyone safe travels and yummy food LOL.

I'm glad to not have to go anywhere this year, relatives are coming here. I'm still cleaning LOL. Everything's clean but now I'm being anal and cleaning minute things...I can't stop cleaning! Somebody help me LOL.

On a side note, I hate sweet potatoes and I will NOT eat them!

Drove 800 miles down to Tulsa yesterday to my in-laws. Time for a good turkey dinner this afternoon, relaxing a bit tomorrow (along with hitting a Black Friday sale for the first time in years), and then driving back all day Saturday.

Happy Thanksgiving, all... even Johnny

Bubbe: That's because scandinavia was colonized by competent people who didn't have to rely on the natives for sustenance.

Ahh ignorance...isn't it cute..

Well Thanksgiving is now officially over for my family. Turkey, which was brought to us, turned out gamey and tough LOL. Apparently if you don't stuff a turkey this sort of thing can happen. Never knew that cause every turkey I've ever made I stuffed. Everything else was great though and now I myself am stuffed LOL. Everyone has left, kitchen is cleaned up, leftovers in their containers. Now I can finally relax and enjoy the long weekend, play a little bit of NWNs2, and later snack on stuff. For instance, there are still 4 deviled eggs left. Oh, and there are some mashed potatoes left, and some cheddar cheese cubes left. I'm thinking said mashed potatoes and those cheese cubes will do well being nuked together for a minute or so. You'd think maybe mashed potatoes can't nuke well, but they do. And I still have yet to have a piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream, so.

And of course now, "officially" it is the Christmas season, which seems to get longer every so many years LOL. Swear this year the Christmas ornaments in stores started BEFORE Halloween! Already one of our neighbors has put up their Christmas lights on their house. LOL, in my neighborhood it always seems to be like this Christmas lighting competition thing going on with the neighbors. So I guess this year we have a real contender on our hands! A newbie to the neighborhood who's starting out first! Of course you know what that means don't you? That means that to keep up and do better than this guy, you can't just put up more lights than him, you have to do something special. So I'm anticipating seeing a lot of those stupid blow up air-fan powered embarrassments. LOL, it will be the battle of the tacky lawn ornaments rather than lights this year. Mark my words LOL. And I'm not kidding either unfortunately. I'll provide pictures (if I can, I found it tough to get good pics of house Christmas lights in the dark last year when I tried it) as the weeks progress and the Christmas tacky lawn fantasies crop up.
