The rugby result we do care about has been mentioned. A terrific win for Australia. What more can we say

Ohhhhhh the rah rah game :slaps head: who cares, well done NZ

OK here is the lame excuse... We planted several Rugby league players into the squad with a secret mission to throw the games so that Rah Rah would disappear off the obscure inside pages of the sports papers, to leave more room for AFL (swans v Brisbane final) and RL (st George v Brisbane final).

Ok Donut - you want a straight answer to a straight question - so ...

Ar-Cunin - "rah-rah" is Rugby Union - hope that helps .

I see Nasser has fallen on his sword at last - it was getting boring having an England side with so few captains playing in it. They allways seemed to fall apart faster when they picked one captain and 2 or 3 ex-captains in the same side

LOL! Yes with Alec Stewart gone, what was to become of English Cricket and the tradition of Captains playing on after a humiliating resignation?

Oh how they must long for an Alan Border, a Mark Taylor or a Steve Waugh. So few wear the honour of Australian Cricket Captain that's it's value is incalculable.

The English Captiancy on the other hand is like a $5 wh...

No Davros - that's a different sport, it's called cricket. We are here today to dissect the total humiliation of the Wannabies!

Yessss! Where is Kim Hughes when you need him.

Okay Yorick, I can see that I'll have to fill you in on a few things. (BTW - you can get cricinfo on the net!)

Alex Stewart is still in the team. The new England captain is rated second only to Brian Lara in the PcW ratings. The average age of the England team is 24. Nasser's resignation was not humiliating in the least. He has taken the England cricket team from bottom of the test playing nations to vie with South Africa as the 2nd best team in the world in only four years. He won 17 and lost 14 of the tests he captained, this included 2 series against Australia.

He realised that he had taken the team as far as he could and that under Vaughn in the ODI's the team had moved along faster than he had.

It was an honourable resignation in the best interests of himself and the team.

Now - back to the point, why are the Wannabies so shit at Rugby Union suddenly??????? Enquiring Poms want to know!!
