I use Internent Explorer as my browser and it has developed an annoying habit over the weekend. Whenever I access the internet, the top of the web pages are set about 1/2 an inch from the top of my screen. The web page is maximized but still leaves that small gap at the top of the screen. I cannot "drag" the box to the top, it refuses to budge. The entire page is there, but the bottom of the page is below the bottom of the screen.
This problem ONLY occurs in my browser. Outlook Express works just fine. It also has nothing to do with my Vertical Controls (I tried that too). Does anybody know what has caused this or have any suggestions on how I can fix it? While it isn't affecting the content of the web pages, it IS extremely annoying.

Microsoft did it again...
But I don´t know. Maybe re-installing helps.

Just a wild shot in the dark here, but try running adaware. Possibly some glitched spyware. But I woudnt bet on it.

I might be right out in left field here, but it sounds to me like your window is goofed. If you haven't already, try maximizing IE, or double clicking the title bar of IE explorer.

I'm with andrewas, sounds like the setup you get when you use one of those free net access providers that make you look at advertising while-u-surf.

Try restoring the window, (the opposite of maximise if you don't know) and then maximising it again...

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I finally got at least one browser window to work properly by going into VIEW, choosing FULL SCREEN, then Restoring and Maximizing again. That did work...but ONLY on that one window.
I am running Windows XP, so if anybody knows some little, hidden command that I've activated to cause this, PLEASE tell me how to UN-activatete. It is REALLY annoying.

Thanks for all the Replies. The problem "seems" to have fixed itself for now, but just in case it hasn't, I have a couple of questions.
1 - How do I "capture everything in my taskmanager"? 2 - Doesn't CTL-ALT-DEL cause the computer to ReBoot? I appreciate your help, Ziroc but I need the instructions to be a little simpler. Thanks again for your help.
