Yes, Kaza is a Trojan Horse. What this means is increased spam, and they can screw around with ur computer. My sis downloaded it, then when we found out, we got the steps to uninstall it. And BDE (Brilliant Digital Software) isn't getting in llegal trouble because they said they can do this on the Fine Print and terms crap.

If you are having troubles with your computer, or want to remove spyware from your computer, go to www.ad-aware.com and download the latest version totally free and then run it. It fixes so many problems.

even if you uninstall Kazaa you will not remove all the spyware.

Ah, well we have KaZaA on our Comp but we also have a handy little program called ZoneAlarm that prevents Trojan horses, among other things and tells us when they occur etc, did it do any damage... so we've got them screwed!

When its on your system it monitors your activity, usualy what websites you visit etc, and sends this data back to its author. Usualy the result is an increase in the amount of spam you get in your emial address.
I'm not an expert, but isn't this an violation of the privacy regulations, set by KaZaA?
No, if they mention somewhere (anywhere) in their terms and conditions that they do this monitoring. If they dont then they can (but probably wont) be sued over it.

Ummm, Tiamat, how can you tell it's a Trojan, unless you have something installed that detects long distance scans etc.
*Decides to rub it in* Because I have!!
