That's why it boils me that we're shunned by the populars; we're not so different, really, we just strive to succeed a lot more (and happen to have musical ability ). Hey, what to you play anyhow? I'm on trumpet, myself, both concert and jazz bands. I like concert a lot more, it gives me a better chance for smooth, slow pieces, which I really like. But on the other hand, jazz band lets me play solos and get noticed. I think I've found a few new friends!
Youre damn right im a bandie! Im residing president of the BGMW, Band Geek Mafia Women. Beat that, lol. Just a group of 8 hot chicks who bash on ex-boyfriends and share secrets...really gross secrets about ex-boyfriends lol. I myself play tenor and soprano saxaphone in jazz and concert, i also play lots of guitar at home. Im definatley more into jazz, cause i can really rip out the improv on my soprano. I would like concert more but our teacher is a jazz guy and knows absolutley nuthing about concert, which is y our jazz band is so good, and the concert band so sucky, lol. My best friend Mikey is lead trumpet player, and sometimes he lets me play it...it either sounds like a really nasty fart or a dying animal, but one time i did get this really high note in good intonation, it was cool, and i havnt been able to do it since!

Don't worry Moni, I'm static. I just have to think of a new, more annoying nickname for Joneleth now...

LB, that's reall cool! Kinda funny that you and a group of friends just sits around telling sick secrets about your exes. I have something like that here, I'm the self-declared president of Sallisaw's underground network! "We must devise alternative methods of distributing our news, our information, our ideas, before uniting worldwide to take a stand and tell the truth!" (sorry, had an Anti-flag moment there). Yeah, I'd probably like jazz band a lot more if the drummer was half intelligent (yesterday she didn't know what a tom-tom was) and the person to my right weren't a complete moron (he tells really dumb jokes, makes fun of my height, and stole my santa hat!). Next year we get to march, I think I'm going to love that mostly because of the cool uniforms! If I can I'll get a picture of me wearing mine on Stealthy's, they look awsome!

(ROFL at the thought of Sephy's Grandma reading her posts and thinking she was Lioness) Well, I can see that I'm late for this, but I couldn't agree with Saz more, Sephy. I like you a lot, so keep your chin up. High School isn't forever, it just seems that way. My folks never said anything bad to me about DnD because my husband plays, and they adore him.

Actually Galadria I'm just in middle school, but only for another month. High school next year, including the dreaded Early Week *shudder*. Thanks again to everyone who offered kind words or jovial conversation in this thread, a big *hugs* to the ladies and a hearty *handshake* to the guys

cool! I'd like to see it, along with your snowboarding pic. I've heard they get really hot, which is why when someone about my size offered to let me try his on I declined... I don't like wearing another person's sweat. We usually wash them more than once, my brother spills nacho cheese on his at least twice and has to get it washed for all-districts. my family is very musically inclined!

Im not sure he wants ta hug another guy Neb...so i'll hug you for him! *hugs*
Its good that ur whole family is into music like that Sephy! My dad tried aucustic guitar and didnt stick with it. My mom used to play flute for a year when she was like 13. My aunt was really into band when she ws in HS, but stopped after that. I believe im the only person in my family who plays an instrument that is actually gonna stay with it! Sad sad sad.
I always knew there was a reason our band director didnt let us eat in the uniforms!

Hmm... I guess there's something to say for having very limited contact with other people... I haven't had anyone bother me much about D&D (probably because I don't play P&P... don't know anyone who does, so *shrug*, bit hard to play without anyone else... *grin*) Hmm... actually, I suppose I'm pretty lucky... the worst I can think of that I've been called lately is a hermit (based on the fact that i spend most of my time indoors in front of my computer or books... ) Hmm... hope things get better for you, Sephiroth... hmm... ah, yes, your name is Cody, is it? I must be the only person left who doesn't know the names of everyone else at IW... Hmm... if I can dig something up, I should be able to find a fairly humorous website mocking a number of other sites that try to make D&D seem satanic (it's scary, it sounds almost exactly like the real sites... I've checked...)... let's see... *sigh* oh, well, couldn't find it... hmm... moo? As I said, I hope things get better... I'm sure they will, actually... just wait, say, another few years, then gloat at everyone... that always seems to work well... Hmm... Encard is the Lord of having No Special Skills! Muwahahahahaha!!! Hmm... actually, going to take Digital Imaging next year at school, with luck I'll actually manage to be good at it (art is )... *shrug* Ah no rambling AARGH THE DEMONS OF COW ARE ATTACKING AAAAAH NO err... right... hmm... I think I'll stop now... *tip*
