Then what did the poll hope to achieve if you already expected the outcome?
To make us PC users more confident and big-headed than we already are?
[/QUOTE]No. To compare how many people saying they love PC are using PC, and how many have both say they love either one or the other.

It often seems to be a case of defending what one has, rather any real objectivity. I rarely encounter another person who uses both systems period, let alone a person who uses both saying they prefer PCs.

Weird. Well not one of the problems he's described has ever happened to me. Except for the dock popping up. LOL! But I just move it to the side, no worries. I've never had the system lock up in OS X.

If he were talking about windows I'd relate better.

Anyhow, he does makes the point, that the topdraw video editting programs are on the Mac.

Oh yeah. he's also got a seven year old model that he's kicking. OS 9 was far less stable than OS X

It's a pretty funny video though!!!

I guess the whole argument is pointless, because ultimately people vote with their wallets..... ah well each to their own.

I have both. I agree that music, graphic and video programs are easier and better on a mac. All of my music and studio work is done on the mac. Games and internet are done on my pc (which right now happens to be a Dell). I have had no lock-up problems, blue screen of death virus or spam/malware problems with my pc. I use a Zone Alarm firewall and use adaware and spybot.

Of course the reason that I don't have problems may be that I don't download porn or visit hacker or warez sites. Let's face it, if you are downloading ("stealing") a movie, music etc. then you should expect other dishonest people to be taking advantage of your greed.

I have tried to explain that to people for years, including one of my ex gf's. If the people stealing this stuff, or putting it up to be stolen, don't care about the author of the subject, what makes anyone believe they care what gets downloaded with it?

Well as both a Mac user and PC user I say what I usually say concerning the Mac vs PC crapbattles: It is really easy to learn how to hate both systems

And I don't agree that Mac is better to make graphics on, it is an really old fabricated reality that springs from Mac beign the ONLY system for graphical productions. That has not been so for many years and still regarding professional work, shit in shit out regardless of wether your processor is Intel AMD or something that bears an Apple.
