Weird Al Yankovic had LOTS of spoofs. Gotta give the guy credit....he really IS talented.
The first spoof I ever saw was "Eat It" in 1984 when the aforementioned Thriller album was boasting it's mega-smash "Beat It" Some other classic Weird Al songs: "Another One Rides the Bus" (Another One Bites the Dust) "I Love Rocky Road" (I Love Rock N Roll) "Like a Surgeon" (Like a Virgin) "I Lost on Jeapordy" (Jeapordy by the Greg Kihn Band) [ 06-27-2002, 12:19 AM: Message edited by: Cerek the Barbaric ]

Do the Carpenters count? Love their songs. Real gentle. I particularly like You've Got a Friend.
Oh, and I love Tokyo Square's Within You'll Remain, too. Nice Oriental flavor. [ 06-27-2002, 12:18 AM: Message edited by: K T Ong ]

Ah, so a comrade from Singapore knows the 'wo ai ni' song, too!
Some of the Eagles is nice too. Such as the rather sad song Lyin' Eyes.

'Kokomo' by the Beach Boys is pretty darn cool. I like a whole bunch of other eighties songs but I can't remember the names of them right now.
