the land of inifinite xp

with my first party, i was over in the mines zone at the huts. one of the huts has some wreckage or something so there is a bottleneck entrance to it, meaning if you fight in there facing outside, only one mob can melee you at a time (optimal conditions for melee of course). the strange thing was i fought some mobs, did a little bit of inventory work and very soon another group of mobs was coming down the hill and towards me. fought them (again very good position for melee) and waitied a little longer (not much). sure enough another mob came down the hill and pounced on my position. fight after fight in a damn fine location. i was able to rest some to regain magic but at no time was i ever in danger. xp was rolling in very well. didnt take long at all to slap some levels on my fellas.

anyone else know this place or was i just lucky that day? cant wait to take my new team there and see if it happens again.

LOL! i think that may be in the sticky Tip topic. if that's the one, it was one of the first sweet spots that was found. but if it's not the same place, then you should add it in.

those sweet spots are great places to sit and soak up the experience.

however, for me, like sitting around picking pockets ad nauseum, i get bored. i tend to like the roller coaster adrenalin rush of running around and landing smack in the middle of a group of grazing hogars, and hearing that sound of all my protective spells wearing off! [img]graemlins/1dizzy.gif[/img]

By the time I got there, everything seemed to be shooting at me, so it wasn't nearly as advantageous.

Very Good Vesselle.

I posted this sweet spot in the Tips column a shot while ago. There are some other places I have since found that have given me 40,000 in experience points but the mines is still the only place yet where the monsters just keep coming wave after wave. And at 10 - 15 thousand a clip those exp points build up fast. But you're right, you can't stay there forever, your adventurers have a job to do.
